No Cookies is one of the top YouTube search results for “library” and both segments are still the most prominent library clips on the Sesame Street website. I’ve been unable to find an authoritative source to identify the original air date for these clips, tho’ one web snippet associates 1977 with CM’s disappointing library visit, which appears plausible.
Cookie Monster & Grover might want to return to their local library to see how it’s changed in the last 30 years…
