Have ideas to share about public libraries? Terrific - I'd be interested in publishing your essay or artwork. Here's the type of content best suited to The Radical Patron blog:

  1. Essays: Thoughts about the future of public libraries — whether or not they have one, the impact they can make, ideas for new services, thoughts on funding and marketing, open questions and constructive criticisms.
  2. Original work that you agree not to publish elsewhere.
  3. 400 words or more with appropriate references and citations.
  4. Artwork: An image that incorporates the library icon, for display in an individual post and the image gallery. Please don't limit yourself to photos; I'd love to broaden the scope of the gallery.
  5. A brief bio to introduce your post, including the URL of your public library.
